Alyssa is the owner and designer of TrendingAbove, a fashion jewelry brand, and resides in Chicago. She is passionate about styling entire outfits from clothing to accessories. Meet Alyssa

What are your favorite retailers for workwear? J.Crew, Madewell, H&M, ASOS, Revolve and Zara

What is your business dress code? Creative Casual

What do you look for in your work wardrobe? While shopping, I look for versatility in clothing items. I love the challenge of how many ways I can style a piece of clothing. Since I design jewelry, I am always mixing and matching accessories into an outfit.

What’s your favorite “go-to” look when you want to look and feel your best? My go-to outfit always includes TrendingAbove jewelry pieces mixed with denim. I live in denim. For professional settings, I pair denim with a structured blazer in a chic print such as a tweed or plaid. For casual days, I throw on high waisted denim, multiple pieces of stacking jewelry, and a basic tee or turtleneck.
